What to Look for in Prepaid Cell Plans
The first thing you find out about prepaid cell plans is
the calling rates. Some companies use flat
rate plans and some offer different rates for different time periods.
The typical plan includes national wide long distance on their
network and extra charges for calls off of it. So choose a service
provider that offers service to all the places you would be making
calls from. For more information on major providers of prepaid plans
for cell phones read below. |

Some
providers offer included services such as voice mail and call
waiting, but some services that traditional plans have will not
be available to prepaid plans (ie. wireless web). That's why you
should ensure that all the features you use are available.
There is more then one way to refill your minutes, usually through
the phone, the internet or buying prepaid cards. You also have
to be aware of different card or refill expiry dates, in general
it ranges from 30 - 90 days. Another important factor you should
pay extra attention to are the details of their deactivation terms.
Some prepaid cell plans will force you to refill your account
at least once a month in order to keep your phone number active.
Make sure you would be able to keep your account active, as reactivating
will cost you money.
Who Offers Prepaid Service
Well, only the larger service providers offer
prepaid services, this includes Verizon, AT&T, Cingular and T
