Compare Cell Phone Plans Continued
We have made a few assumptions when we created our charts together,
this will help keep varibales more consistent while we are doing
our plan comparison. Firstly, we're assuming that all the plans
were are under a 1-year contract instead of a 2-year contract.
We did this because a 2-year commitment may be too long, and
we recommend to sign a 1-year contract instead. Special discounts
and bonuses that are only available to 2-year contracts, can usually
be made up by the savings of switching to a better deal in the
future. Now with cell phone number portability, you could transfer
your cell phone number to another cellular service so it won't
be as troublesome as getting a brand new phone number. Regardless,
a 1-year contract is highly recommended.
The second assumption was that we didn't include any upgrade
costs or activation fees for the monthly fees, but it should be
factored in yourself as you're comparing cell phone plans. If
you would like more information on the fees, you can take a look
at our reviews for each provider. With strong competition in the
cellular phone industry, alot of providers are waiving actiavtion
charges so remember to pay attention to the fine print on the
contracts.
The cell plans below are in the range of $60-$100...
